The Basic Rules
✗I know, this rule is so basic and probably annoying, but please respect everyone. From the longest staff to the newest guest. Everyone wants to be respected.
✗Our activity rate on WOY is at least one post every 5 days. If you feel you are going to be gone for more than a week, please just leave a note in the leaving board! It will help to let us know if you are simply away due to life problems or gone because you no longer wish to be on our forum. Missing an activity check with no note in the leaving board will result in a PM'ed warning and then if a week goes by without a reply you will be deleted. Of course, you can always return!
✗We are a one account per character forum. In other words, every character should have its own account. I'm aware it's not the most fun thing to do, but if you check out the bottom of your page to the right there are three symbols in white bar. If you click the one that has two people and an arrow, it will bring you to a switch user screen with all your accounts. It's that simple! If you need further explanation, please PM Athena!
✗Due to Proboards rules, you must be 13+ to join the forum.
✗Because of younger participants and Proboards rules you may not post anything above PG-13 content. In a thread or any other board of the forum please fade to black.
✗Wolves of Yellowstone is a semi-realistic role-play based on the lives of the wolf packs that exist there. We will not allow characters to have wings, horns, telepathic abilities, or any other supernatural/fantasy talent. They can only be the "boring" kind of wolves. If you want such things, we may not be the forum for you!
✗No godmodding, power-playing, metagaming, or mary/gary sues. If you feel you need to be cleared up on the meanings of these terms, PM a staff, we are happy to help!
✗Due to some people only doing a few sentences, we have a word count of 250 words. It's sweet and pretty easy to reach, but we do ask that you try to level it with the person you are role-playing with. If the person wrote out a beautiful 600 word post, it might be a little discouraging if you reply with 250 words.
✗We do allow liquid time and a no character limit. You can post as much as you want, with as many characters as you like, but if it gets out of control and threads/characters are constantly being neglected, restrictions will be placed.
✗The chatbox is a privileged, not a given! Absolutely no impersonating, advertising, or flat out being rude.
✗If a thread is not posted in for two weeks it will be moved to the archives and the role-players PM'ed. If at any point they would like to have it returned to the action, just PM a staff and they will move it back to it's original placing.
✗All graphics/photos must have credits on the image/under the table/photo, and be under the Creative Common license. If anyone is caught stealing it's an immediate ban.
✗You may have templates, signatures, and other things but make sure they do not stretch the board. Please try and keep the dimensions from exceeding 500x500.
✗Loners may roam anywhere they like. Though if they are in pack lands, the Alpha/Beta or whomever is in the high ranks may enter a closed thread to take authority.
✗All wolves that wish to join a pack must meet with that pack Alpha on a pack land and ask permission to join, discuss a rank, and so on. You may put the pack name in your wolves joining biography, but they will be considered a loner until they thread with the Alpha and are accepted IC.
