Personality:
Faydra is, most notably and above all else, persistently ambitious. All of her life, she has held herself in high regards, knowing her own worth. Over the years, she has grown to be a confident, flirtatious, and wildly determined she-wolf. She is not ashamed of reaching her goals by any means, and she is unabashedly seductive and cunning. With a sharp tongue and quick wit, her mouth often gets her into trouble, although she cares little for whose feelings she hurts. She is incredibly intelligent, and would rather use her brains and beauty instead of brawn to get what she wants. She spends most of her time plotting, running over her options in her head, mapping out her quickest way to victory. She could easily be described as passive aggressive, and she believes whole-heartedly that revenge is a dish best served cold. While she does not fling herself at the feet of brutes, she enjoys flirting with them and teasing them, enticing them to chase her, likely due to the fact that Faydra likes to be in control. She is nowhere near as cute and sweet as she appears; she truly does prove that looks can be deceiving. Also worth noting is her mildly masochistic tendencies; she enjoys pain (as long as it is nothing severe, like maiming or extremely serious injuries), and has no issue with letting it be known.
History:
Born to two wolves alongside two brutish brothers, Faydra was instantly her father’s soft little princess. Her mother, Eleanor, was more distant, favoring her brothers, Caius and Lucian, over Faydra. As Faydra grew, her mother became jealous of her daughter and the attention that Drusus, the father, was paying his child. Often times, Drusus spent hours with Faydra, telling her many things and weaving wonderful tales. Despite the fact that he was mated to Eleanor, Drusus instructed Faydra to never give her heart away, and taught her to be a ruthless creature, shameless when it came to getting her way. Faydra took the lesson to heart, and the older she got, the worse her relationship with her mother became. Lucian cared very little for the affairs of his family, and left at the age of two. Caius, however, sided with his mother. Faydra and her family constantly bickered, with the exception of her father. He was her safe haven, but the older she got, the worse the arguments became.
For years, Faydra attempted to ignore her mother and brother while remaining close to her father. One day, while stalking a herd of doe, Drusus was blindsided by a stag protecting the herd. He was gouged through his side, and he died instantly. Faydra found out through Caius, who had been hunting with her father. For days she grieved, but eventually she hardened her heart. With Drusus out of the way, things with her mother grew terrible until one day, Eleanor had Caius drag Faydra by her scruff to a secluded clearing miles away from their home. Here she was forced to fight for her life against her own kin; in the midst of their scuffling, Caius revealed that it had not been a stag who had killed her father, but him acting on their mother’s orders. Cold and murderous, Faydra was quick to kill her brother – she was lighter and quicker, and was able to slide beneath him to tear out his throat. As he lay dying in the snow, Faydra left him and returned to her home, where she killed her mother and then departed. They had been a loner pack, and no one noticed the death of the two remaining wolves; Faydra departed to live on her own, swearing to never think or speak of her mother and brother again.
