Announcement 003 : Clean up & kick start!

Hello my loves, it has been a rough three months on this forum and I really want to thank all of those who have stood by us and are being patient. My midterms are finally over for the time being and I have to tip my hat with a tone of appreciation to my other admins for keeping this place rolling while I was away,

Sadly, we have lost a lot of activity and certain characters as well. Because of this, the plot (war between the packs) is going to be placed on hold until more members and ranks fill up. With that said, pack leaders ( LOST ) please update your hierarchies. It is taking us a little too long to fill in the ranks and the joining threads aren't going as planned. So, please PM all pending members of the pack to assign ranks and then we will perform a meeting about the battle. This shouldn't take too long.

Once that is done, we will pair up the remaining members for the first battle! Once again, thank you to all the wonderful members who are standing by us and those left to come! Once all ranks in the packs are filled in, please PM me so we can move along with he battle! (:

I agree that a short pause in the war is necessary while we turn the site around from it's current lull to the activity it had prior to these last few weeks. Let us breathe some life back into Yellowstone!

A fast track to handing out some ranks to existing pack members may just be the best idea to get the packs up and on their feet. Multi-character threads (i.e. large pack meetings) have a habit of moving a bit slow since so many individuals are involved and life has a tendency to throw everybody curveballs which further delays the matter. So while we shouldn't give up on meeting threads, I highly recommend everyone try to get involved in some one-on-one threads as well if you're not already! Small threads can be especially fun and are just as capable of leading to plot twists as major threads (hunting, injuries, romances, drama, rivalries, competition, budding friendships, etc.)

Though WOY may be few in members now, it only takes just a few active threads to make the site appear lively, and the appearance of regular activity is the best invitation to new and prospecting members! If the few of us here can develop our characters and keep the story going on our own, new members will come in time. Every now and then an unfamiliar face pops up in our c-box. Please feel free to greet and welcome these newcomers to our site, and let's all give them a reason to join the ranks and stay with us by remaining as active as possible! If you don't know where to start to get active, try to PM other active members with plot ideas! Or visit the plotter/log section of the site! And if you still can't find anyone else to start a new thread with, please come to me and I'd be glad to join you on the boards!
