DIGGING A LITTLE DEEPER;;
Appearance: Massive brute of grey, white, coppers, and charcoals with liquid amber hues.
For a Mexican wolf, Dexerous is rather large. Though smaller than his Grey Wolf cousins, he tips the scales in his gene pool. The brute is tall and burly, with broad shoulders and powerful, lethal muscles. He's got massive paws and a strong set of canines to deal the damage. The brute is well muscled, hidden under neath a thick coat of fur. Though this stature doesn't grant him incredible speed, he's a formidable predator; don't let him get his paws around you.
Dex's pelt is a mixture of vivid and alluring colour. His chest, throat, and maw paint a spectacular white, dissolving into mixtures of greys and charcoals at the shoulder. Among these colours, are hints of bronze and copper highlights, dominating the top of his muzzle, ears, and legs. Black rimmed eyes are a brilliant amber.
Personality: Proud, cunning, overly-analytical, loyal, determined, reserved, calculating, quick-witted, strategic, flirtatious, ruthless.
There are so many angles to Dexerous, like a broken mirror, shattered into a million shards. Each shard indicating a potential action or reaction. The brute is rather unpredictable, in fact, he is anything but easy to predict. Like his blood which pulses through his pack, Cougar Creek, the alpha is strong and conniving. At first glance, Dexerous eserved. To the outside world, he is but a shadow, still as stone with the eyes of a hawk. The brute is not one for controlling the limbs of every warrior within spitting distance, in fact, he would much rather let them duke out their problems and learn from it. Detached as he seems, Dex can come across as rather nonchalant, observing. Perhaps this is true, as he believes his pack mates must learn from their mistakes or they won't learn at all; a form of tough love in that sense.
In taking a gander beyond that stern shell, within that ever complex mind of his, one might learn a few things. Below that silent exterior, is the mind of a warrior. The ever watching Dexerous is always making mental notes, planning and scheming. The brute is can come across as power hungry - perhaps he is, but he will do whatever it takes to ensure Cougar Creek is and always will be thriving. Dexerous does not always see the sense in getting in his enemies face, but would rather use strategy to whip them back into their place. The brute can be blunt with his words and happens to be extremely opinionated, but never will he reveal to the world his frustrations, but rather strikes back when the time be appeals to his pack.
Yet Dexerous has a twisted bent to him. He's ruthless and merciless to those he sees unfitting. The brute has zero tolerance for traitors, outsiders, and the other packs. Dex would stop at nothing to ensure the survival of his pack, flaying anyone that dare stood in their way. He's fierce among his pack mates, leading with the strength and authority they need. The brute has little consequence for the harm of others, so long as Cougar Creek thrives.
On a personal level, Dexerous can be very wicked. He's incredibly cunning, and flirtatious. Yet the brute is not one to settle down. He likes to play with the heart strings of those around him and have his fun. The alpha is very much a brute of lust, having his fun with one vixen before moving onto the next. Dexerous does not know the meaning of commitment, and has no desire for fatherhood, or love. However as an alpha, he knows he must find a vixen to lead at his side. Will it be a companionship of love, or lust?
History: Dexerous was born into the very heart of a strong and formidable pack. The packs were thriving packs in Yellowstone, yet limited. Dexerous had been raised strong and lethal. He had been the beta pair's one and only surviving son, or so he presumed.
Growing up, the brute had been young and eager. He had two siblings, a bother and a sister. Yet Dex was never close to his siblings, and never really had the time to create that bond. He despised his sister, she was too naive, and too innocent. She was a push over like her mother, with no real idea how to lead a pack. At least, that's the way Dexerous saw it. As for his brother? Well, they were much more alike, perhaps too alike, for they couldn't get along at all. His brother was competition, as determined and unchallenged as Dex was. If there was ever to be a threat to his potential power, it would be from his brother.
Yet, everything changed, and with it, Dexerous' pack fell apart. Yellowstone was constantly evolving, changing, packs were forming and decaying day in and day out. This constant change would breed madness and desperation as the ranks were constantly changing like the tide. as The ranks crumbled. Those that survived of that pack learned to fend for themselves, each going their separate ways with the dawn of a new era. Dexerous was no different.
He has had no contact with his former family, comrades, nor enemies. The very souls that once haunted his life are now but ghosts to his mind. Dex has learned to explore new livelihoods and build up his strengths. These new lands bred new life, they always had and always would. Wolves and canines alike have come to be the dominant race, that's how Dexerous liked to see it. Since then then, a new and formidable pack has been established, Cougar Creek. Ambitious as he was, the brute strived to claw his way up the ranks. He secured himself as beta male of the pack, for what seemed like an eternity. When the leading pair grew weak, with no other alternatives to power, he struck. Determined and ambitious, Dexerous settled into the role of Cougar Creek's new alpha, leading with him a new dawn for the strong pack. This would be Dex's time, Cougar Creek's time, to thrive.

Role-play Experience: Plenty of experience. Admittedly my writing isn't too structured and well thought out, but I've been writing for years.
