First, I would like to thank all of the current members who have been so patient with me for the reconstruction of the forum. I had intended to get a new skin up slick and fast, but with all of the holiday's coming around as well as new years, I have never had the chance. Finally, on Christmas Eve (for me, anyway) I have thrown the skin together and adjusted the colors to make it fit our plot. So, here's the scoop.

First things first, your new avatars. Not much different then before, the large image can be found by going to your 'personal' tab and posting your chosen link into the 'large avatar' section. The dimensions for this photo are 200x300. As for the second photo, that is the regular 150x150 proboards avatar. It will be seen on the outside of your posts as well as when you hover over your large photo in a post! As for everything else, the skin isn't much different than the old. The main differences is the forum information.

The welcome section, updates, otm's, and our new, season/year section will hover at the top of our home page! I feel it's much more clean than having to slide the scroll bar - which i didn't even notice was there until like 3 days after opening. :c Now, let's get to the actual role-playing business, shall we?

As you can see above, we are no longer in spring, but the summer! However, due to so much confusion, I am not going to stick to the realistic Yellowstone seasons which are spring, autumn, and a very, very long winter. It would just take a lot of research and studying to know it exact and it's just easier to keep it with all four seasons. We still need to grow a bit before the plot comes into play, but I am thinking maybe a little battle between the Grand Canyon and Cougar creek wolves? It could be fun, and even the loners could pick sides. However, it's just a thought and I won't bring it into play until we figure out who is coming back to the forum and who will be joining.

And finally, as we have jumped a whole season, the question of where your wolf is now, comes into play. We are going to do a small time skip - meaning that all wolves who were at the borders are now within that pack and the joining threads archived. This is only for wolves that were wanting to join before the skin page. If you are a new member, you will need a joining thread! As for the wolves who are now in the pack, the Alpha will choose your role and you can decide with them from there.

Also, we may hold another activity check soon. Due to the forum being closed for longer than expected, I don't know how many of our members will return. I am going to delete those who didn't post in the former activity check, and January 2nd may throw up another one. A mass email will be going out either today or Friday (cause christmas) to let previous members of the forum that we are now open once again!

Thank you for your interest in joining the reserve of Yellowstone! There are just a few tweaks that need to be made before we can send your wolf off to it's new life! Please correct the following and then tag my staff name (@ admin) and I will check it over one more time.

1. The first thing is that when you do not provide a photo of your wolf, you are asked to write a 150 description of what they look like. You are doing a great job! However, so far you only have 85/150. Now worries, it's an easy fix! If you can't find what to write, think of height, weight, body build, and other things like that!
2. Next is the personality, which is the most important part of a character! We want to be able to read this and think that we know your character! With that said, please try and add some more words as you only have 35 of the required 150. If you find yourself stumped, think of things that your character likes, dislikes, fears, loves, and looks for in others that he finds as companions!
3. For history, we ask you to go a little above and beyond with your characters thoughts as well as a count on the words. We do believe in quality over quantity, but do ask that you give us at least 200. You have provided only 85. Think about his parents, describe his life in the pack before he became a loner and all the itty bitty details in between!

Besides the few things stated above, the bio looks great and your character interesting, I can't wait to see him out bonding with the others! Thank you for taking the time to check out our forum as well as making a biography. (:
